Avon Lakes Village is a lakeside homeowners association in Rochester Hills, Michigan, governed by an elected volunteer Board of Directors. Residents share several lakes, parks, and a full calendar of community events.
Annual dues for the 2026 calendar year are $272.00, due no later than April 1, 2026. Payment is accepted by check or Zelle. For the payee or Zelle details, reach the board treasurer through the Contact page (choose “Finance”).
Before starting any exterior or architectural change to your home or property, submit a request to the board’s architectural contact for review and approval. The quickest way is the Contact page — choose “Architectural / Property” and your request routes to the right board member.
Paddle-boat slips: There are two boat slips at each of the Avon Lakes Village parks (Mackwood Park and South Shore Park) for homeowners without lakefront property. They’re first-come, first-served, and can be requested by emailing the HOA Board starting January 1 of the year you’d like to use one. Boats must be removed from the parks by November 15.

The board maintains guidelines for the safe, respectful use of our lakes. We’re finalizing the full rules (watercraft, wake and speed, fishing, and swimming areas) for this page — in the meantime, please reach the board through the Contact page with any questions.
Avon Lakes Village has two HOA-approved mailbox options, with specific vendors and part numbers listed on the Resident Resources page. If you’re maintaining an older wood mailbox, please paint it a shade of brown.
We’re confirming the current hauler, pickup day, and bulk/yard-waste guidelines and will post them here shortly. For now, the board can point you to the latest schedule via the Contact page.
The Annual Homeowners Meeting is held each spring — the 2026 meeting took place on April 22, 2026.
