2026 highlights
- Landscaping and planting at the South Shore entrance after 2025 storm damage
- Maintenance of sprinkler systems
- Full maintenance of the entrance and parks, including trash removal
- Maintaining the ALV website, Gmail account, and Facebook page
- Stocked Avon Lake with fish (85 bass and 85 catfish)
- Inspection of Avon Lake drains
- Second phosphorus mitigation treatment
- Lake treatments for invasive vegetation and algae
- E-coli testing
- Established Mackwood Park as a swim park (no fishing)
- A full schedule of social events
- Muck tablets made available to homeowners
- Messages to homeowners on pontoon boats and golf carts
Looking ahead
- Beach sand at Mackwood
- Rubber mulch under the playset at Mackwood, if needed
- Rochester Hills road entrance repair from Dequindre by year end
