Our Parks

One park for swimming and events, one for fishing. Both close at dusk.

Two parks, two purposes

Avon Lakes Village has two community parks on the lake, each with its own purpose. Both are here for residents and their guests, and both close at dusk as posted on the signs.

Swimming & events
Mackwood Park

Beach and swimming, community events like the summer picnic and movie nights, and the boat livery for getting out on the water. There is no fishing at Mackwood.

South Shore Park

Our quiet fishing park. Bring your pole and enjoy the shoreline. Swimming and boating are at Mackwood.

Good to know

  • Both parks are for residents and their guests, and both close at dusk.
  • Carry out what you carry in, keep pets leashed, and be considerate of neighboring homes.
